Engraving lids, helping out with the batchwork

I got a taste of the more routine money making side of the FabLab by helping out with engraving thermo cans. Engraving these cans with custom graphics, names and logos gives a steady income for the Lab. The lasercutter engraves away the layer of paint, leaving the brushed aluminum as the graphic. This is a fast and easy way putting a high quality graphic on a product.
